Columbia University & Me

This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of reading from The Trouble with Half a Moon at Columbia University as part of their Let's Read program. It was terrific! I had such a good time. Lamar Lovelace, from the Office of Community Outreach, is an awesomely funny and friendly guy. I also met author, Michael Buckley, of the Sisters Grimm and the N.E.R.D. book series. What a cool and generous dude! My daughter was starstruck and whipped out her phone to tweet about it-- all while being very covert about it of course.

As always, it was fun hanging out with Torrey Maldonado. Once again, he mesmerized the audience with a reading from his book, Secret Saturdays!
